Ident Development
We created 3 different idents on illustrator. We used the connotations of the name of our production company and decided to run with the theme of social realism. We have 3 different designs to choose from. What each ident share, is a silhoutte of tower blocks, we added these as they reflect the themes and issues within our film - thus giving the target audience an insight into where the film may be set and perhaps imply the issues associated around estates i.e drug trade, gang culture, poverty. We tried to make everything relevant and correlate during the production of our film.
This was our initial idea, but we decided that we wanted our font to be smaller and placed within the image
We then decided to stretch the image placre the name at the bottom of the tower block silhoute. We preffered this image as it was much refletive of the location of our film as the flats are very tall compared with the first image
We then added smoke behind the flats as this connotes, danger, filthiness, and unhealthiness. We wasn't sure about this element - so we decided to stick with the image above and keep it simple/ less complicated
For our ident we want to include a lost television signal to the end to give it a more urban feel
