Noel Clarke is a British actor, director and producer. He is well known for his debut movies,Kidulthood and Adulthood. These two films opened the door for teenagerrs in the UK

Since these two films Noel Clarke has been significantly successful in the film industry.

He is also inspirational figure for many teenage boys in the UK involved in gang culture he was raised single handedly by his mother after his father walked out on him after he was born. Many teenage boys in UK involved in crime tend to come from single parent families and have no signifcant male role model visible in their lives. These boys tend to look up to other successful indiviuals that have been in a similiar situation to them, for instance Alan Sugar left school and started a business and is now one of the most wealthiest men in the UK. Individuals like Noel Clarke

Now this was an educating impact on myself, I couldn't relate because I don't live in a poverty strucken society at the same rate and level the protoganist did in Indie(the setting of Slumdog Millionaire). However, again it educated myself and the audience on things that have and carry on to happen in poverty struck societies. Now this style of 'educating' could be used within my short film, though implementing it in a unique way will be hard. But if I do make an educating material, it would have to be something that someone won't usually know of first hand, and it being set in this country, it'll be very hard as we're not in a intensly bad society. So perhaps something that will be able to link some viewers could be the smart move, and making others feel lucky in their own rights could also be a great effect.

These directors have by far, going to be a huge influence in my own developing shortfilm and as a media student.
